The Non Starters

The Non Starters are a Hertfordshire-based punk covers band. Pistols, Clash, Ramones, Damned — the classics, played fast and loud and with everything we've got.

But here's where it gets interesting: every song gets the punk treatment. Every. Single. One. That means Abba. Taylor Swift. Dolly Parton. Whatever you loved growing up — we'll play it, and we'll play it with significantly more distortion than the original intended.

Formed from the wreckage of failed side projects and a shared conviction that most songs are improved by a Marshall stack and a bad attitude, we've been making Hertfordshire's pub-goers question their taste in music since 2025.
