Who runs this site

The Non Starters — a Hertfordshire-based covers band. We're the data controller for anything you send us through this site. Get in touch via the contact form.

What we collect

Through the booking, song request, and mailing list forms we receive whatever you choose to send us — typically a name, an email address, and a message.

Why we have it

• Booking enquiries — to respond to you and arrange gigs.
• Song requests — to consider your suggestion.
• Mailing list — to email you about upcoming shows, only if you sign up.

Lawful basis

Booking and request forms: our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch. Mailing list: your consent — you can withdraw it at any time.

Where it lives

Form submissions are sent via Resend to a Gmail inbox we control. The site itself is hosted by Vercel. All three may process data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Booking and request emails: as long as they're relevant to an active or recent booking, then deleted. Mailing list: until you ask to be removed.

Cookies and tracking

None. We use Vercel's analytics, which is cookieless and aggregates page views without identifying you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• show you the personal data we hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete it
• restrict or object to how we use it
• send you a portable copy

Use the contact form and we'll sort it.

Complaints

You can complain to the ICO if you think we've mishandled your data. Tell us first — we'd rather fix it.
